The following policy outlines the acceptable use of personal and company-owned phones in the workplace. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
Acceptable Use:
- Personal phone use is permitted during non-work hours and during designated break times.
- Company-owned phones must be used for work-related tasks only.
- Personal phone use during work hours is only permitted in emergency situations.
- Texting, social media use, and other distracting activities on personal or company-owned phones are prohibited during work hours.
- Company-owned phones must be kept in a secure location when not in use.
- Employees should not use their phones to take pictures or record video in the workplace without prior authorization.
Un-Acceptable Use:
- Employees should not share confidential or sensitive information through personal or company-owned phones.
- Employees should not use company communication channels for personal purposes.
- Employees should not save confidential or sensitive information on personal or company-owned phones without prior authorization.
Personal Devices
- Personal devices used for work-related tasks must be registered with the IT department.
- Employees should not use personal devices to access sensitive information or company data.
- Employees are responsible for the security and privacy of their personal devices.
Enforcement
- Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
- Employees are responsible for reporting violations of this policy to their supervisor or the HR department.
Lost or stolen company-owned phones must be reported immediately to the IT department.
All level L1 employee are allow to keep phone with them and rest of the team member have to put phone in phone wallet. During working hour use of any kind of social media or entertaining or news site is not allowed and strictly prohibited. We strictly restricted phone use during working hours but in case of emergency can attend phone by taking permission of supervisor.
This phone use policy is designed to ensure a productive and professional work environment, protect sensitive information, and maintain the security of company-owned phones and personal devices. Employees are expected to comply with this policy and to use personal and company-owned phones in a responsible and appropriate manner.
